Councillor Ann Crawford represents Division 2 of Isaac Regional Council. Division 2 takes in the township of Dysart. Dysart has a popluation of 4000 and it is a purpose built town that serves the coal mines of Saraji, Norwich Park, Vermont Coal Project and surrounding rural properties. Cr Crawford was first elected in a bi-election in 1998 and has been re-appointed unopposed in the historic elections that saw the amalgamation of Broadsound, Belyando and Nebo Shires to become Isaac Regional Council that cover approximately 60,000 sq. klms. Cr Crawford holds a Diploma of Community Services/Community Development and has completed the Building Rural Leaders program. She also has experience in small business having owned and operated her own small business in Dysart.
